The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Sgt. Zainah C. Creamer, 28, of Texarkana, Texas, died Jan. 12, in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked her unit with an improvised explosive device. She was assigned to the 212th Military Police Detachment, Headquarters Battalion, Fort Belvoir, Va.
