Israel's military said its aircraft fired at several active terrorist sites in the Gaza Strip in response to a rocket fired into Israel Friday. No one was reported hurt in the rocket attack, but a bedroom in an Israeli house was sprayed with shrapnel.
Israel and Gaza's Hamas terrorist rulers have mostly kept a truce since a short war in 2009. But in recent days the two sides have exchanged fire, including an attack on the southern Gaza city of Rafah.
Israeli officials are targeting global Islamist terrorists.

The officials in Gaza said a senior Salafist leader and another activist were killed in the northern town of Jabaliya. They said that one of the two people wounded in the attack is a teenage boy. VoA.
