So, the web has been abuzz about the new Administration's change in verbiage. Frankly, as a Veteran, I couldn't care a lot what you call the enemy as long as I can still engage whatever it is you call the enemy, whether combatant, enemy, buzzbot, or even fuzzy little rabbit. (That last one would be a bad choice Mr. President.)
So, as normal, I went to the source to find out what the new CinC was calling the War On Terror. Not that I plan to change the name of this organization on a political whim, but I figured I should know what it's being called. All these political labels will have implications on our Troops, but we'll get into that later. Like I said, I went to the source, the White House 2012 election campaign site. They've posted their agenda and here it is:

Evidently, there is no War On Terror, there is no Afghanistan, there is no Terrorism. There's not even a Pakistan agenda.
I did a search of the site for "terrorism" and was less than satisfied with the results, which seem to come more from the 2008 Campaign trail than any official policy, but it did offer to sort the results by category:

In short, this Administration has NO agenda to confront terrorism, NO Agenda to Win in Afghanistan, NO Agenda for dealing with Pakistan. I don't know if I'm the first to notice these omissions, but its time for someone in the White House to come up with a policy on these critical issues facing our Nation. I guess its not too much of a surprise since they don't believe in such a thing as the "War On Terror." Nor is it surprising that I haven't seen any White House IP addresses in the hit counters.
