Despite the heat of the day and having to slave over a hot grill, Sgt. 1st Class Christopher Diehl (at left) of York, Pa., served steak with a smile, May 24, to Spc. Lisa Marie Ogozaly of Coatesville, Pa. Soldiers of the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team's 328th Brigade Support Battalion enjoyed a Memorial Day weekend cookout following morning ceremonies which marked the recent re-enlistments of 62 Soldiers, during their mobilization, and the recent promotion of 23 Soldiers to the rank of sergeant. Ogozaly did not participate in the battalion's softball game after previously injuring her arm in a volleyball game.
With a salute, 1st Sgt. Randall Pritts (left), of Meyersdale, Pa., welcomes Sgt. Bronson Cass, of Lancaster, Pa., to the non-commissioned officer corps. Twenty-three recently promoted sergeants, such as Cass, were recognized by Soldiers of the 328th Brigade Support Battalion, 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, during a ceremony, May 24, in which 62 BSB Soldiers were also honored for reenlisting during their mobilization.
