Afghan Commandos kill two militants in Farah
Kabul, Afghanistan – Afghan Commandos with the 207th Corps, advised by coalition forces, killed two militants in Khaki Safeed district, Farah province today.
The Afghan-led force was conducting a combat reconnaissance patrol when they identified militants armed with an assault rifle, machine gun and a rocket-propelled grenade launcher, riding on a motorcycle. The patrol engaged the militants with small-arms fire, killing both.
No civilians, commandos or coalition forces were injured during this engagement.
