RIP PVT Gerrick Smith

DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Pvt. Gerrick D. Smith, 19, of Sullivan, Ill., died July 29 in Herat, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained from a non-combat related incident.  He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 130th Infantry, Illinois Army National Guard, Marion, Ill.

REQUEST that all afford my Brothers a Moment of Silence each on Monday 3 AUG 2009 6:07-6:08 PM, Central Time.  REQUEST that each Moment of Silence be dedicated each Monday to my Fallen Brothers in order of noticification since prior Monday.   

6:00 PM to 6:02 Central are TWO Minutes of Silence (#MoS) dedicated to SPC Bowe Bergdahl, currently held hostage by the Taliban Terrorists, and will remain Until his return home #Bowe
