Pakistan officials say 18 people were killed and 40 others wounded when a truck carrying chemicals exploded Monday in the southern city of Hyderabad.
Authorities say the blast was most likely an accident, caused by the chemicals in the truck's storage tank. They say they do not believe the explosion was a terrorist act.
Officials say the truck was parked at a depot when it exploded, destroying several nearby shops. Television footage showed rescuers searching the rubble for victims of the blast.
