Afghan and NATO officials say four Afghan civilians were killed by homemade bombs in the eastern part of the country.
Officials say the four civilians were killed Monday after a bomb detonated in the Zurmat district of Paktia province.
Also Monday, officials say a suicide bomber on a motorbike wounded two civilians in Nangahar province. The bomber also died in the blast.
In fighting across the country, NATO says it killed two Taliban leaders and detained several other insurgents during a series of recent operations.
