Islamists Kill 4 Russians in Dagestan

Car Bomb Kills Four in Russia’s Dagestan Region

VoA News: Russian federal investigators say at least four people were killed Friday when a car bomb exploded outside a cafe in Russia's volatile North Caucasus region of Dagestan.

In a statement, the Moscow-based investigators say the blast killed two cafe workers and two cafe visitors in the town of Khasavyurt. They say at least five others were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Russia is battling a militant Islamic insurgency in Dagestan. Bombings and clashes with police are almost daily occurrences.
