Set in the year 2084, you soon learn that the Government controls everything, the Islamic World Government that is. Islam is the religion of choice. Our country has been renamed Islamic States of America and to the north lies Canadastan. The government controlling what we read.....and by the way, history books have been re-written....what technology is allowed and which people are allowed access to it......does this seem far-fetched?

I like to think of this book as a modern day twist on George Orwell's 1984 as there are many similarities between them. The author, John F. Simpson, weaves an imaginary tale of the world being dominated not by Communism but by the Islamic religion.
In the book, if a person breaks a law, the punishment is swift and simple. A public execution carried out by "The Ministry of Peace." Mandatory attendence is required at all executions, with live coverage showing on all televisions for it is against the law not to attend or watch these executions.
Drawing on current events, "The Book in the Wall" shows how Islam swiftly becomes the "only" religion allowed, how the governments around the world are falling under the control of "radical Islamism."
Yes, it is only a far-fetched imaginary world that we read about in "The Book in the Wall" or is it? I think you might find yourself surprised after reading "The Book in the Wall" and how it ends! A most thought provoking book that is well worth your time to read!
