We congratulate General Petraeus on a long and successful career, in which he has faithfully and honorably served the Nation. We wish both General Petraeus and General Allen success in their challenging new positions, that they can overcome the inherent challenges. We hope that the politicians in Washington will heed their advice and will support them and the Troops on the Battlefield in the missions assigned them, by the politicians.
