At least 4 Taliban thugs feed the worms today. Two died in an attack on a base in Qalat and another in Konduz. Another died of premature detonation in Kabul.
Another 4 were captured, along with explosives, munitions, and weapons.
To prove their power, the Taliban murdered a doctor and his assistant in Takhar.

ISAF Details Follow:
During a search of the area, the security force observed an armed insurgent operating in a field. After ensuring no women or children were in the area, an air weapons team engaged the individual, killing him.
Following the engagement, the security force confiscated roadside bomb making materials, multiple AK-47 assault rifles, and a chest rack.
The force then moved to search a nearby compound and discovered more bomb-making materials, including 15 pounds of home-made explosives, blasting caps, and detonation cord. The force safely removed the materials and detained a suspected insurgent before leaving the area.
The force assessed that no civilians were harmed during the engagement.

Capital: Sunday, Afghan officials say a suicide bomber died during an apparently premature explosion while driving on the outskirts of the capital, Kabul. The blast caused no other casualties.
North: A combined Afghan and coalition security force detained one suspected insurgent in Almar district, Faryab province, yesterday. The force detained the individual after observing him conducting insurgent activities in the area.
In northern Afghanistan, a doctor and another medical worker were killed Sunday after their vehicle hit a roadside bomb in Takhar province.
East: In Ghazni district, Ghazni province, a combined Afghan and coalition security force detained two suspected insurgents while searching for a Taliban leader Sunday. The targeted leader participates in kidnappings, hijackings and attacks against Afghan National Security Forces.
South: A group of suicide attackers and gunmen attacked a NATO reconstruction base in southern Afghanistan, but failed to breach its defenses.
Officials say the attackers struck the base in Qalat, the capital of Zabul province. One of the attackers detonated a bomb outside the gate of the base, while the others fired shots.
One of the attackers was killed, another was captured, and a third escaped.
Afghan officials say two civilians were injured in the attack.
