This is Taliban "Justice." It comes from 2009, when Pakistanis were realizing the Taliban were the enemy. It comes from a time when Pakistan was an ally against the common enemies of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. This is light punishment under Islamism. Taliban "justice" includes: stoning for "adultery," hangings for "homosexuality," and acid thrown in the face of girls that have the audacity to go to school, to learn to read.
The VP says the Taliban are "not the enemy." The POTUS wants to fly Taliban terrorist leaders from GITMO to an office in Qatar, to negotiate their way back into the government of Afghanistan.
