A civilian element of the ISAF mission in Afghanistan are the Ministry of Defence's police.
Officers first deployed to Helmand four years ago, with the task of moving the Afghan force away from their traditionally paramilitary security role, and towards a more everyday police service for their community.
The main contingent of MoD police is at a dedicated training centre, but Forces News' Julie Knox has caught up with the two-man team of coppers who live at a patrol base, with the job of mentoring district Afghan Uniform Police chiefs.
