The U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan received the following information concerning threats to U.S. citizens living in Afghanistan:
As of early December 2014, insurgents were preparing an imminent attack using a Vehicle Borne Explosive Device (VBIED) against the Qasimi Guest House, also known as the Kabul Q Hotel, in Police District 4, Kabul City, Afghanistan. There were no further details regarding the targets, timing, or method of attack.
