Jonathon David Hall, 23, of Chattanooga, TN, grew up in Anchorage, AK.
He enjoyed skateboarding and playing hockey. He is remembered for his extensive preparation prior to joining the military, physically, mentally, spiritually, and in studying for medical skills.
In 1998, Hall was baptized in Israel and was a member of the Woodland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga.

He was a Combat Medic assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Air Assault. He joined the Army in October 2008 and arrived at Fort Campbell in August 2009. His awards and decorations include: Bronze Star; Purple Heart; Combat Medic Badge; Afghanistan Campaign Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Army Service Ribbon; and Weapons Qualification, M4, expert.

Jon chose to be an organ donor ... already his heart went to a 19-year-old male who lives in Munich, Germany ... both his lungs went to a 15-year-old male, also in Munich ... his one kidney and pancreas ... his other kidney will be given to someone today ... and ... his liver will go to two different people today as well." Hall is survived by his mother Robynn Harrison of Rocky Face, Ga., and father Air Force Lt. Col. Steven Hall of Anchorage, Alaska and grandparents Don and Jan Priddy.
He was laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
