Honoring SGT David Scott Robinson

David Scott Robinson of Fort Smith, Arkansas, was born April 28, 1985.  He attended Greenwood and Southside Schools and was baptized at Southside United Pentecostal Church in 2001.

He enjoyed playing paintball and pool.  He enjoyed playing GI Joe growing up.

He joined the Army after earning his GED in 2004.

"He would stand up for you and fight for you.  If somebody was doing something wrong to you, he'd stand up. He was a defender until the end." Kimberly Mullen, friend.

"He liked to run around with his friends.  He was just a real sociable person." Amber Griffin, sister. 

He was assigned as a Gunner to A Troop & D Company, 2nd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment of Vilseck, Germany.

He was remembered on December 3, 2010 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel and December 9, 2010 at Rose Chapel in Germany. He was laid to rest at Fort Smith National Cemetary.  He is survived by wife Heidi, daughter Madison, sons Jerimy and Tyler, mother Beverly Brown and husband Steve, father David E Robinson and wife Michelle, brothers Jerrod, Chris, Shelby, Bill, and Steven, and sisters Amber Griffin, Heather, and Tara.
