Justin Eric Culbreth of Colorado Springs, Colorado was born on May 18, 1984 and lived in Wentzville, Missouri prior to enlisting. He attended Warrenton High School before graduating early from homeschool.
He was a member of the Grace Nazarene Church. He enjoyed hunting deer, fishing, playing paintball & video games.

Culbreth was an Infantryman assigned to Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).
He joined the Army in February 2004 and arrived at Fort Campbell in May 2009. His awards and decorations include: Bronze Star Medal; Purple Heart Medal(2); Army Commendation Medal; Army Achievement Medal; Army Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Korean Defense Service Medal; Afghanistan Campaign Medal; Iraq Campaign Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon(2); North Atlantic Treaty Organization Medal and Combat Infantryman Badge.
Culbreth is survived by his wife, Kimberly Culbreth; son, Brandon S. Culbreth; daughter, Katelyn R. Carbaugh; step-daughters, Mariah J. Bailey and Hannah G. Carbaugh and step-son, Cole R. Carbaugh, all of Clarksville, TN and formerly of Colorado. He is also survived by his parents Walter and Cheryl Culbreth of Wentzville, MO; sister Lauren Culbreth of Bowling Green, KY.
