Shannon Chihuahua was born May 10, 1985 in Thomasville, GA and graduated in 2004 from Thomas County Central HS where he was a member of the Thomas County Central Choir. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. He attended Valdosta State University from 2004 to 2005.

Chihuahua was a Combat Medic, assigned to Headquarters and headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He joined the Army in July 2008 and arrived at Fort Campbell in July 2009.
His final actions were to provide medical care for a fellow Soldier.
Chihuahua is survived by his wife, Kristen Chihuahua and daughters, Sophia Chihuahua and Annabelle Chihuahua of Thomasville Ga.; mother, Dennice Dinkins of Thomasville, Ga. and father, Sebastian Chihuahua of Del Rio, Texas, sister, Christina Smith and husband Nathan of Thomasville; brother, Alejandro Chihuahua of McKinney, Texas, brother, Eric Calixtro Chihuahua and wife Samantha of Athens; sister, Jessica Frausto and husband Riley of Killeen, Texas; father-in-law, Michael Freeman of Thomasville; nieces and nephews, Grey Morley Smith, Bruce Marcellus Frausto, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Freeman, Addisyn Leigh Chihuahua, Bailey Thomas Freeman, Colton Maddox Frausto and Dani Grace Chihuahua; and maternal grandmother, Mabel Carroll Simpson of Thomasville.
He was remembered at First Baptist Church on 27 Nov 2010 and laid to rest at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetary in Camilla, GA.
