Jason A Reeves of Odessa, was born June 9, 1978 in Lubbock, Texas. He attended Peoria High School in Arizona and graduated in 1980 through correspondence course. He continued his education in the Military, earning an Associates Degree in Applied Science - Intelligence Operations with High Honors.
His life as an Air Force brat provided him experience in many locations and nations. He was the Math-Science Student of the Year for Maricopa County, AZ and attended elementary school in Okinawa, Japan.
He enjoyed traveling both as an AF brat and as a Soldier and used the opportunity to learn about the local culture no matter where he went.
He enjoyed debate, sky-diving, and SCUBA.
He had deployed to Iraq from 2008 to 2009 with the 163rd Military Intelligence Batallion out of Fort Hood, TX.

Jason's Awards and Decorations include: the Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal w/3 Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Achievement Medal w/Oak Leaf Cluster, Iraq Campaign Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Parachutist Wings, Driver Badge, and Mechanic Badge.
Jason is survived by parents David (USAF retired) and Ruthie Reeves, sister Stacy Reeves Roeber and husband Randall, nieces Alexis and Tatum Roeber, nephew Revin Roeber, and grandparents Charles and Dolores Reeves, and Earl and Waunell Moize. He was remembered at Sun City West Christian Church on December 18, 2010 and laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetary of Arizona in Phoenix.
