Honoring SSG Jason A Reeves

Jason A Reeves of Odessa, was born June 9, 1978 in Lubbock, Texas.  He attended Peoria High School in Arizona and graduated in 1980 through correspondence course.  He continued his education in the Military, earning an Associates Degree in Applied Science - Intelligence Operations with High Honors.

His life as an Air Force brat provided him experience in many locations and nations.  He was the Math-Science Student of the Year for Maricopa County, AZ and attended elementary school in Okinawa, Japan.

He enjoyed traveling both as an AF brat and as a Soldier and used the opportunity to learn about the local culture no matter where he went.

He enjoyed debate, sky-diving, and SCUBA.

Honoring SSG Kevin M Pape

Kevin Matthew Pape was born February 5, 1980 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He graduated from Concordia Lutheran HS in 1988.

"The best son a dad could have and one of the best soldiers this nation and the Rangers have produced." Marc Pape, father.

"Staff Sgt. Kevin Pape had two priorities in his life – his family and the Rangers he led.” Col. Michael E. Kurilla, commander, 75th Ranger Regiment.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army in September 2005.  He completed One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Georgia, as an infantryman.

Pape graduated from the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program and was then assigned to Co. C, 1st Bn., 75th Ranger Regiment in April 2006, where he served as a machine gunner, team leader and squad leader.  He served 3 tours in Iraq and was on his 3rd in Afghanistan.
