The Goal of Project Honor is memorialize the lives of Our Fallen Warriors, individually, in the words of those that knew them. There is no deadline for "completion" and updates to each are likely.
Our Fallen deserve to be remembered for their Victories and Character in life, not only the moment the enemy got lucky. They are not mere names nor numbers to be used in a political campaign.

Jesse Adam Snow, 25, of Fairborn, Ohio, was born April 18, 1985 at K.I. Sawyer AFB, Michigan. He attended Baker Junior High and graduated from Fairborn High School.
He served as an alter boy at Mary Help of Christians Church in Fairborn.
He played football with the Wee Hawks and Little League Baseball. He continued in basketball and football at Junior High and played multiple sports in HS where he was also a member of AF JROTC.
Jesse volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Dayton, OH and helped neighbors with yard work.
Snow was an Infantryman assigned to Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He joined the Army in April 2009 and arrived at Fort Campbell in August 2009.
Shane Hussein Ahmed of Chesterfield, MI was born Dec 9, 1978. He attended South Kingston HS in Wakefield, RI and graduated in 1997 from Bedford North Lawrence HS in Bedford, IN where he tutored fellow students in Math and English. He also wrestled and played football.
“Hussien was absolutely a brilliant young man. He was very respectful and quiet." Becky Sprinkle, guidance counselor.
His academic excellence earned him grants from the North Lawrence Foundation, Edward Hutton, and Wal-Mart. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Purdue and also attended Ohio State University.

There is only one set of people that can truly tell the story of the lives Our Fallen have lived, of their Glories, of their Honor, of their Victories, of their laughter and jokes. The people they fought with, the people they lived with, the people they loved have the best seats and hence should have the podium to tell the story.
While we offer every family and the teammates of Our Fallen, those that knew them, the opportunity to tell their story here, we will also point to their individual Memorial Sites. Ms. Elizabeth Reifert has decided to tell the story of her brother, her hero, her Soldier on her own site. In her words:
"PFC Shane M. Reifert was fighting at the tip of the spear in the War on Terror at COP Able Main, a small, rugged outpost in the Peche River Valley. He and his Brothers of 2nd Platoon, Bravo Co, 1/327 101 ABN engaged the enemy on a daily basis. They were recently part of a complete sweep of the Shuryak Valley where they killed or captured a long list of high value targets with the entire US Force coming out of it intact." Elizabeth Reifert

by Spc. Roland Hale CAMP TAJI, Iraq – When 11-year-old Dominic Wheeler watched his brother DJ leave for Iraq in 2003, his mother asked how he felt about his brother going to war.
“Just as long as he comes home,” Dominic responded.
Seven months into his deployment DJ was killed on patrol when a group of insurgents fired several rocket propelled grenades into his Bradley fighting vehicle. He came home to be buried in Concord, Mich.
But the story did not end there for Dominic. On the seventh anniversary of DJ’s death he had a unique opportunity to pay tribute to his brother.
The Department of Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office (DPMO) announced today that the remains of two servicemen, missing in action from the Vietnam War, have been identified and returned to their families for burial with full military honors.
Air Force Col. James E. Dennany, 34, of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Maj. Robert L. Tucci, 27, of Detroit, will be buried as a group Jan. 14, in the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery.
On Nov. 12, 1969, Dennany and Tucci were flying the number three aircraft of three F-4Ds escorting an AC-130 gunship on a night strike mission over Laos. After the gunship attacked six trucks and set two of them on fire, the AC-130 crew's night vision equipment was impacted by the glow from the fires. They requested that Tucci attack the remaining trucks. During the attack, gunship crew members observed anti-aircraft artillery gunfire directed at Tucci's plane followed by a large explosion. No radio transmissions were heard from the F-4D following the attack and no parachutes were seen in the area. An immediate electronic search revealed nothing and no formal search was initiated due to heavy anti-aircraft fire in the area.

Army Air Forces 1st Lt. Richard T. Heuss, will be buried on March 24 in Arlington National Cemetery. On Nov. 20, 1943, Heuss, along with 10 other B-24D Liberator crew members, took off from Jackson Airfield, Port Moresby, New Guinea, on an overwater mission near the northern coast of the country. During the mission, the only radio transmission from the crew indicated they were 20 miles northwest of Port Moresby, but they did not return to Jackson Airfield. Subsequent searches failed to uncover any evidence of either the crew or the aircraft.
